Hanging Jewelry Organizer Crochet Pattern

This is a Beginner level pattern that takes 1.5-2 hours to complete. This Hanging Jewelry Organizer is perfect for holding earrings, bracelets, necklaces, watches and so much more! The perfect gift for a family member or friend.



Beginner Level. This crochet project takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.


Supplies


  • Hook size: 4.0mm

  • Weight 4 cotton yarn

Stitches Used


ch - chain

sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

tr - triple crochet

dec - decrease


Pattern Starts Here

With Base color (green)

Cast on 52 stitches on the thin wooden dowel (using the cast on knitting technique)


Row 1: Insert hook into the first stitch (working right to left) place a sc in each stitch across, ch1 and turn


Row 2-6: dc in each stitch across, ch2 and turn


Row 7-16: then ch2 again, skip 2 stitches, *place dc, ch2, skip 2, repeat * until the end (you should end with a dc on top of the previous dc) then turn


Row 17: ch2, dc (on top of the previous dc), 2dc in the same ch2 space, dc, repeat until the end. then turn


Row 18: ch2, dc across the row, turn


Row 19: ch2, dc, tr, dc, tr, 20dc, tr, dc, tr, 20 dc, tr, dc, tr, dc, turn


Row 20-21: ch2, dc across, turn


Row 22-23: sc dec, sc across until there are two stitches left, dec in the last 2 stitches, ch1, and turn


Row 24-26: 2dec, sc across until there are four stitches left, place 2dec, ch1 and fasten off


With outline color (Cream)

Attach yarn to the top right corner of the project, sc around the piece until you reach the left corner (by the wooden dowel) ch1 and turn, sc back to where you started.


At this point you should be at the top right corner of the jewelry organizer. Make the strap by ch60 and then slip stitching into the other side of the project. Fasten off.


If your jewelry organizer is wrinkly or wavy feel free to use a steamer to flatten it out!
